Deaf Ministry

Deaf & Hearing.
Together in Christ.

Trinity’s Deaf Ministry seeks to bring Deaf and Hearing communities together to embrace God’s Word, grow in faith, and share the love of Jesus Christ.

Lindsey and Jeremy Wright, Trinity Deaf Ministry leaders

Welcome

“Hi!” from Lindsey & Jeremy Wright

We are so excited to be part of something special at Trinity. Our hope is to bring Deaf and Hearing communities together to embrace the Word of God.

We have been married for almost 11 years and have two beautiful girls. We are very blessed to be part of the Trinity Lutheran family.

Lindsey

Building Bridges Through ASL

Lindsey is Deaf and teaches ASL — American Sign Language — classes at Trinity several times throughout the year. Through these classes, she hopes to grow awareness and understanding of the Deaf community and its beautiful culture.

Her primary goal is to help make our Trinity family accessible to Deaf people and to help others discover faith and trust in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

When she is not caring for her family or serving at Trinity, Lindsey enjoys crafting.

Interpreting Worship at Trinity

Jeremy serves as Trinity’s volunteer ASL interpreter. He interprets worship every Sunday at 9:00 AM in the Family Life Center. We invite you to join us!

When he is not interpreting, Jeremy enjoys computer programming and riding his bike farther than most people drive their car!

Our Goal

Making Trinity Accessible

Our goal is to create a church community where Deaf people can fully participate in worship, fellowship, and the study of God’s Word, while helping Hearing members learn more about Deaf culture and American Sign Language.

Together, we want people to know Jesus, grow in faith, and encourage one another as members of one family in Christ.
