Juliann has always been a musician, performing in choirs and traveling with bands. Deciding that she needed to find a “grown-up” career, she graduated from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA with a BS in Computer Science. After working as a computer programmer and systems analyst, she left the field to become a full-time mom to her sons, Ian and Erik. Upon arriving in Arizona, Juliann and her family were drawn to Trinity because of the warm, friendly people and the quality of the sermons and worship. They had never experienced contemporary worship before but now felt they had found a worship home! Juliann was hired to put together the weekly service bulletins and newsletters. After indulging in some of the many music opportunities, she “grew” into the position of Director of Music which she has held for several years. It was a great fit and Juliann is looking forward to many more songs of praise and worship here at Trinity.
Andi was born in Augusta, GA but has lived in Arizona for most of her life. She currently lives with her husband, Steve, in Litchfield Park and has three grown children (two of whom are Trinity Lutheran School graduates) with five grandchildren. Andi joined Trinity’s ministry team initially in 1999 and has served in various roles throughout the years. After a brief hiatus, she has rejoined the staff and is currently serving as Ministry Coordinator, a contact and resource for the different ministries that are carried out here at Trinity. If you are thinking of visiting Trinity, new here, or just have questions, contact Andi, she’ll point you in the right direction!
Janet grew up on a farm in central Kansas. She graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska with a degree in Secondary Education. She was first Called to teach Social Studies for grades 6, 7, 8 at Ascension Lutheran School in Landover Hills, Maryland. She then taught US History, Economics, Government, and Religion at Long Island Lutheran High school in Brookville, New York. Janet next moved to Arizona to teach first grade at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran School, Phoenix. She spent the last 14 years as a personal trainer (with husband, Troy) while raising (and homeschooling) children, Haley, Alec, and Trinity. In her spare time, Janet enjoys hiking, reading, and all other physical activities. She loves her family, their wiener dogs, Chiefs football, and KU basketball – Rock Chalk! (If you know, you know 🙂
