Janet Sienkiewicz grew up on a farm in central Kansas. She graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska with a degree in Secondary Education. She was first Called to teach  Social Studies for grades 6, 7, 8 at Ascension Lutheran School in Landover Hills, Maryland. She then taught US History, Economics, Government and Religion at Long Island Lutheran High school in Brookville, New York. Janet next moved to Arizona to teach first grade at Christ the Redeemer Lutheran School, Phoenix. She  spent the last 14 years as a personal trainer (with husband, Troy) while raising  (and homeschooling) children, Haley (22 yrs.), Alec (18 yrs.), and Trinity (11 yrs.). In her spare time, Janet enjoys hiking, reading, and all other physical activities. She loves her family, their wiener dogs, Chiefs football, and KU basketball – Rock Chalk!  (If you know, you know 🙂
