The game-changer is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The risen Christ promises to be with you; He sends the Holy Spirit to you; He strengthens you with His Word, He abides with you through His meal, and He promises you the Resurrection of the dead and the life everlasting! There is no persecution that can ever change these things! The Resurrection takes the sting and the fear out of persecution. The Resurrection gives you zeal, confidence, and boldness in faith! Like Martin Luther 500 years ago today; you too can boldly say: Here I stand, I can do no other, so help me God, amen!
