Every time Jesus casts out a demon, it’s good news for us! Jesus casting out a demon is a foreshadow of the cross of Christ. On the cross, Jesus cast Satan down, crushed Satan’s head , defeated him, and took away his power.

Jesus > Satan!

Jesus is far, far greater than the devil, because Jesus is the Son of God; God Incarnate to rescue us from the power of the devil.

That changes everything for you; you belong to the Lord, and have a new life of holiness to live!

Whenever Jesus cast out a demon in Scripture, it is a gospel image. Jesus is setting a person free and rescuing them from the power of the devil.

In your Baptism, Jesus cast Satan away from you, and that is good news! Jesus has set you free and rescued you from the power of the devil! Amen!
