In the book of Revelation, the first five chapters are preparatory, teaching us how to live in the End Times. The first five chapters give us a Christian worldview, they focus our lives on Christ, they assure us that all things are under Christ’s power and authority, and they teach us to live faithful Christian lives of repentance and patient endurance. The first five chapters escalate to a GRAND VISION OF CHRIST where ALL of creation worships Him in majesty and splendor.

When Jesus ascended into Heaven, He was coronated as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Revelation chapter 5 gives us a glimpse of that Coronation!
