As we continue our Lenten journey to the cross, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, one of the central themes is that of sacrifice. When Jesus died on the cross, He cried out: It is Finished! No more sacrifices are ever needed. Jesus sacrifice is the last and final one: His sacrifice was once, and for all people of all times!
