Long ago, the Son of God spoke to Samuel and called him to be a prophet.

Not that long ago, the Son of God called you by name in Holy Baptism, sanctified your vocations, and He continues to speak to you through the Holy Bible.

May you have the same attitude as that of Samuel:
Speak, Lord, your servant is listening!
