The Gospel of John shows the fulfillment of the Old Testament and captures the essence of the New Testament! Everything in Holy Scripture points to Jesus; the divine Son of God, the Christ, whose death and resurrection brings you eternal life!

Or as John puts it, These things are written (not just the Gospel of John, but all of Holy Scripture) these things are written … so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in His Name. ~John 20:3-31
